The Holiday Four-Course Menu
Menu and wine subject to change without notice.
First Course | Un Hors-d'Oeuvre
French Triple Cream Cheese
Whipped butter, marinated olives, fig jam, warm baguette (V)
Wine Pairing: Crémant de Loire Brut. A traditional-method French sparkling wine from the Loire Valley. Its bright bubbles and crisp acidity cut through the rich, creamy cheese and set a festive tone for the evening.
Second Course | Le Poisson
Smoked Salmon
Lemon, dill, baby kale, bacon vinaigrette (GF)
Wine Pairing: Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc. Crisp, citrusy and mineral, Sancerre is a classic match for smoked fish, lifting the lemon and dill and balancing the smoky salmon and bacon vinaigrette.
Third Course | Le Plat Principal
Classic Pot-au-Feu
Slow-braised beef shank, root vegetable stew, Dijon, cornichons, horseradish, sour cream (GF)
Pot-au-feu, literally "pot on the fire," is one of France's most beloved home-style dishes: tender beef and winter vegetables cooked low and slow, served with sharp Dijon, cornichons and horseradish. It's the ultimate cold-weather comfort food.
Wine Pairing: Chinon Cabernet Franc. A Loire Valley red with red-berry fruit and a gentle earthiness that complements the braised beef and root vegetables without overpowering them.
Fourth Course | Le Dessert
Warm Dark Chocolate & Cherry Panettone Bread Pudding
Eggnog ice cream, Grand Marnier crème anglaise
Wine Pairing: Banyuls Vin Doux Naturel. A naturally sweet red wine from the Roussillon coast of southern France, Banyuls is one of the few wines that pairs beautifully with dark chocolate, echoing the cherry and holiday spice in this festive dessert.
