Le Sud Mediterranean Kitchen ("Le Sud," "we," "us") is operated by 2301 Roscoe Hospitality LLC, at 2301 W Roscoe St, Chicago, IL 60618. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit lesudchicago.com, reserve a table, book an event, order online, or contact us, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, email, phone number, and mailing address for catering or delivery.
- Reservation and event details: date, party size, seating requests, dietary notes and allergies you choose to share, and event preferences.
- Order and payment information: items ordered and order history. Card payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
- Messages: what you send us by email, text, phone, or chat, including through Google Business Profile messaging and our automated phone and text line.
- Website data: basic technical information such as browser type, pages visited, and cookies, collected by our website platform and analytics tools.
How we use it
- To confirm and manage reservations, private events, catering, and online orders
- To answer your questions and follow up on inquiries
- To note dietary needs or allergies so our kitchen can prepare your meal safely
- To send marketing emails or texts, only if you have opted in
- To improve our website, menu, and service
- To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations
Automated assistants
Some messages and calls may first be answered by an automated AI assistant, including Google's messaging agent and our AI phone and text line at (773) 906-4954. These assistants use our published information to answer common questions. They pass your conversation to our team when needed. Please don't share payment card details in chat or text.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the restaurant, and only as needed:
- Resy for reservations
- Toast for payments, online ordering, and email marketing
- Tripleseat and restaurent.com for private event inquiries and bookings
- Squarespace for our website
- Google for our business profile and messaging
- Our AI phone and text answering provider
These providers handle your information under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Marketing emails and texts
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email. For texts, reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Opting out of marketing does not affect messages about a reservation, order, or event you booked.
How long we keep it
We keep information as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal and accounting requirements. We then delete or anonymize it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as Illinois law requires.
Children
Our website and services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email us at events@lesudchicago.com.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
